From humble beginnings as a mission in 1949, St. Anne Parish was officially established on September 17, 1957. Today, this vibrant community of faith numbers 850 households and continues to serve as an anchor in Ortonville and its surrounding townships. The Mission Statement of the parish expresses the hopes and dreams of the members. As you browse our web-site, we hope that you will discover a bit about our parish. We invite you to contact the parish with your concerns and questions. Above all, we hope that you will visit us, join in our worship of God, and walk with us as we strive to grow in the likeness of the Risen Christ.
Parish Mission – “Return~Renew~Rejoice”
October 2 – 5, 2016
Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
As a member of St. Anne’s Parish, please accept this invitation to attend our “Return-Renew-Rejoice” Parish Mission October 2-5, 2016.
A Parish Mission is an opportunity for us all to renew our Catholic faith. The mission services consist of a proclamation of the Word of God, preaching and reflection, singing and praying together. It will be a grace-filled happening, and opportunity to experience in a special way the wonderful and incredible presence and love of God. Wherever you are in your faith life, this mission is for you.
To make it easier for entire families to attend, there will be childcare available each evening, we just ask that you call ahead of time and let us know you will be bringing your child(ren). Just call our Parish Secretary, Mary Ann at 248-627-3965 ext. 100 and let her know how many children you will bring and their ages. Adult supervision for all age groups as well as quiet places for older children to do homework is being arranged; but we need to know how many children to prepare for so your call is absolutely necessary.
If you need a ride to and from the evening services, call our Parish Secretary, Mary Ann, and transportation will be arranged for you.
Our “Return-Renew-Rejoice” Parish Mission will begin on Sunday evening, October 2nd at 7 p.m. in the Church. Mission services are also planned for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. Each service should last about and hour and 15 minutes, or so, and will be followed by a time for fellowship and refreshments. We will also have a Mass of Anointing of the Sick Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
Please join us in praying for the success of our Parish Mission and plan now to share with us in this very special, grace-filled time.
In the love of Christ,
Fr. Gerry & Staff
